Stuart Mailer Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine

Due to many of us being unable to attend a Physiotherapy appointment due to time constraints or the current Covid19, or we just need advice and are unsure of what is the best route forward, we have set up an Online Physio service and a home Pilates 1:1 session. This can be undertaken in 15, 30 and 60min consultations and can be done with platforms such as Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, Facetime or just telephone call. We can then give the appropriate exercise plan if required or refer you on for Scanning/Imaging or to see a GP, Sports Physician or Orthopedic consultant. follow the contact page to book your session.
Online Physio, What do I need and how does it work?
All you need to do initially is tell us your preferred video platform that can be either Zoom, Face Time, Skype or WhatsApp.
We would ask you to wear loose-fitting clothing in case we require you to perform certain movements.
A detailed subjective history of your injury will be discussed and we may ask you to perform certain exercises or special tests.
We then provide you with a provisional diagnosis and discuss this in detail with you as to why we have come to that conclusion.
Education, Advice and other strategies of pain management and referrals will be undertaken and a follow up if required.
A detailed and tailored exercise or rehabilitation plan will be provided and sent directly to your email or phone.
We will provide any adaption to your exercise plan within the first week free of charge or advice to help you move forward.
As you are not a number and we genuinely want to help we will follow up any questions, concerns you have after your initial consultation.
What our customers are saying
I had a Video consultation with Stuart for my Ankle injury when I was on holiday in Thailand and caused a sprain. His simple format of testing, advice, and exercise helped me greatly. It was really simple to use and very easy even when I was thousands of miles away.
