Due to many of us being unable to attend a Physiotherapy appointment due to time constraints or the current Covid19,  or we just need advice and are unsure of what is the best route forward, we have set up an Online Physio service and a home Pilates 1:1 session.  This can be undertaken in 15, 30 and 60min consultations and can be done with platforms such as Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, Facetime or just telephone call. We can then give the appropriate exercise plan if required or refer you on for Scanning/Imaging or to see a GP, Sports Physician or Orthopedic consultant. follow the contact page to book your session. 

Pilates 

Pilates is a form of exercise that was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century to try and help improve mind, body and physical well being. Pilates can be performed on the floor, standing or using equipment known as the Reformer, Cadillac, and others. The benefits for the individual can be wide and can help posture, Strength, Endurance, Mobility, and Flexibility offering all something of benefit. Through these, it can then help in the reduction of injury and in the rehabilitation of injury especially when performed by a physiotherapist trained in Pilates. Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes. 


An online session can take you through the basics and fundamentals of Pilates and then progress you to an advanced level in the comfort of your own home. We will take a detailed history of any injuries or previous ailments you have, and then we will ask you to perform some basic movements to help determine the level you are at. We can then tailor the class to you and your goals. For any information on how we can get you started please contact us. Prices start at £30.00 for 30 mins (block booking 5 x 30 mins only £125) and £50.00 for 60 mins  Block booking 5 x 60 mins only £225)

Online Physiotherapy Consultations

Online physiotherapy can be very beneficial to a patient as Stuart can discuss your injury or ailment and combined with a detailed history and assessment can formulate a provisional diagnosis and provide a specific tailored exercise plan.  A Physiotherapist does not have to touch to obtain a provisional diagnosis as a detailed subjective history will already give a working hypothesis, while objective movements can aid in confirming this. As Physiotherapists are highly skilled in pattern recognition they can are experts in this area and will tailor the assessment to each individual. However, if they are not satisfied by the outcome they will ask you to be reviewed in person.


Once the provisional or working diagnosis is confirmed, advice and education on the injury and an exercise plan will follow that you will be taken through and then sent. If you are unsure of your exercises then a video call to go through these again can easily be arranged.  With Stuart having more than 20 years working in health care and physiotherapy he can provide a wealth of experience to assist you. With working in many professional sports over the years he has undergone many video Consultations while athletes who are traveling and don't have access to a physio. Thus he has formulated a very simple and easy assessment that you will be able to undertake in the comfort of your home. Prices start at £25 for 15 mins, £50.00 for 30 mins and £80.00 for 60 mins. 

Online Physio, What do I need and how does it work? 

  • All you need to do initially is tell us your preferred video platform that can be either Zoom, Face Time, Skype or WhatsApp. 

  • We would ask you to wear loose-fitting clothing in case we require you to perform certain movements. 

  •  A detailed subjective history of your injury will be discussed and we may ask you to perform certain exercises or special tests.

  •  We then provide you with a provisional diagnosis and discuss this in detail with you as to why we have come to that conclusion.

  •  Education, Advice and other strategies of pain management and referrals will be undertaken and a  follow up if required.

  • A detailed and tailored exercise or rehabilitation plan will be provided and sent directly to your email or phone.

  • We will provide any adaption to your exercise plan within the first week free of charge or advice to help you move forward. 

  •  As you are not a number and we genuinely want to help we will follow up any questions, concerns you have after your initial consultation.
